About this product

The Heavy Duty Cleaner is the most powerful cleaner in the ROKIMI range, designed for dirt that cannot be removed with ordinary shampoo: black streaks, green deposits, resin, bird and insect droppings, and deeply ingrained grime. Use it specifically on tent covers, boat covers, convertible tops and awnings — it tackles the dirt without putting unnecessary strain on the fibres. For regular maintenance, the Hood & Tent Shampoo is sufficient; use the Heavy Duty Cleaner only when it’s really necessary.

Instructions for use

How to use the Heavy Duty Cleaner

Brush away any loose sand and dirt.

Wet the cloth thoroughly beforehand.

Apply the product evenly and avoid localised build-up. For less severe soiling, you can also use it diluted 1:1.

Work it in using a brush, soft sponge or cloth.

Leave it to work for a maximum of ± 5 minutes and never allow the product to dry out. Keep the application time as short as possible.

Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

Repeat the treatment as and when necessary.

Tip: afterwards, protect the clean, dry cloth with ROKIMI Hood & Tent Protection to ensure waterproofing and a longer service life.

Important to know

A powerful remedy — use with care

This product contains a mild bleaching agent and may cause discolouration of coloured or delicate fabrics. You should therefore always test it on a small, inconspicuous area first and only assess the result once the canvas is completely dry.

Do not mix with other cleaning products or acids.
May be corrosive to metals — do not allow it to come into contact with them and rinse off promptly.
If you have sensitive skin, wear suitable gloves and eye protection.
Avoid inhaling the mist; use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Key difference

It is, in fact, suitable for bird droppings and insect stains.

Many cleaning products warn against using them on bird droppings or small stains. The ROKIMI Heavy Duty Cleaner, however, has been specifically developed for insect and bird droppings and for treating specific stains — but always test it on coloured fabrics first in an inconspicuous area.
